Found this gem whilst looking for somewhere to spend the night after a day with family in Felixstowe. Spotlessly clean and ran by a lovely couple. Everything you need in the room including fresh milk which is always welcome. Breakfast in the morning was superb in a relaxed environment. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The room was spotless with everything you could need available Jan was really welcoming and friendly and even gave me a lift to the local event I was in the area for. Really appreciated.

From the moment we arrived Fanjaro felt like home. We were welcomed warmly and were even offered a lift if we were going out, there and back. The house is lovely and very comfortable with all the mod cons and even snacks in our room. The rooms were large and very well maintained. Would highly recommend. Brilliant hosts.

We arrived later in the evening, and Jan and Roger were very welcoming with Roger showing us around, etc. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, very clean and has everything you would need. Decoration and fittings to a very high standard, Jan and Roger make this Bed and Breakfast feel like home from home. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice and excellent quality produce. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend and we would 100% stay here again. Really quiet and the beds were super comfortable. Ohhh, also they have two beautiful, small, friendly dogs, so if you miss your own furry friend, you can have a little cuddle with them! We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely our room was, with lots of little extras. We were made to feel so welcome & we’re even able to use their iron & ironing board when asked. Our breakfast was just superb! Even their dogs are friendly.This was perfectly located for us to attend a party just a mile away. Thank you.

The accommodationwas perfect for our needs with all that was needed.Comfort,well stocked fridge, (bottled milk and water) , well stocked and very nice en-suite.

Although we only stayed 1 night we were made to feel most welcome. Our bedroom and en-suite had everything, and more, than we needed - facilities for making hot drinks, fresh milk, chocolate, all the toiletries you could want, hairdryer, bath robes, slippers. We slept well and breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, full English and all vegan and vegetarian options too.When we are back down visiting our son we will 100% be back.

I have spoken to your guest (Chris Leake) this morning and he said it had been a very homely and comfy stay - lovely host and hostess.

Exceptionally clean and everything required for any traveller. Rooms nicely furnished with modern bathrooms and plenty of towels and toiletries. Guests lounge with tv but bedrooms also have tv and a sofa. Refreshments and snacks provided in each room and a fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices which would suit anyone. Jan and Roger were great hosts Thank you both

Friendly couple who run this small B&B in their home. The room was large with a comfortable bed and everything you could wish for. Small fridge with fresh milk, water and some chocolate bars. Large flat screen tv. Large en-suite with toiletries. Definitely over and above most B&Bs. Excellent breakfast. I could go on! Quiet location down a lane looking out over fields where you can see deer and pheasant. Centrally located for the Suffolk sights. Would definitely recommend.

We have a lovely room (Jade) ensuite - toiletries and clean towels for our use and a lovely comfortable bed - we were also provided with treats to eatwith our tea and coffee and a small fridge which always had fresh milk, water and scrummy little chocolate bars.Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice of cereals, with fruit juice and the option of full English breakfast and any variation wanted.We would recommend this lovely accommodation 100% and hope to visit again.Elaine and Mick Calvert Countesthorpe, Leicester

Very pleasant stay in this comfortable guesthouse. Room was very clean and well maintained/decorated. Bathroom excellent standard with lots of nice touches like radox bath salts! I travelled with my son and daughter. We did not sleep here, because we missed the ferry, but we had a really very nice breakfast and loved Dexter as well!

Cannot fault my stay at Finjaro Guest House at all. Had a very warm reception, & was able to put my motorcycle straight into their garage for safety.Jan & her husband were very kind & thoughtful,straight away i told Jan's husband of a problem with my bike I'd had on my journey,a problem with a fusewhich had made me late,and he right away gave me two fuses to remedy the problem.I thank him so much for that. They have two lovely small dogs which out of respect for new arrivals keep them separate so they dont jump up, but i love dogs so wanted to see them straight away & was able to give them both a fuss. Regarding the room i stayed in, first of all it was on the ground floor & right there off from the hallway so was very easy to cart all my motorcycle gear to my room. The room was a very good size, was spotlessly clean & catered for anything i might need. The bed was very comfortable being a memory foam mattress,the large tv on the wall was easily seen from in bed,plenty of plug sockets to charge my phone, my powerbank & bluetooth headset, & had a very decent sized radiator under the window.The bathroom was large & too was spotlessly clean, having a very lovely shower in a good sized bath was a treat after a long journey. Shower gel, shampoo & bath products were provided. A lovely large heated shower rail was in there too. The compliments in the room were great, being provided with tea, coffee, fruit tea, chamomile,cake, biscuits,a very rapid boil smart water dispenser, a small fridge containing two bottles of filtered water & a lovely milk bottle.I was provided with a comprehensive sheet for my requirements for breakfast for me to tick what i wanted and quantity, fruit,fruit juice, cereal, yoghurt, cooked breakfast,teas, coffee, etc. Breakfast was lovely & really enjoyed having grapefruit slices, a cooked breakfast & Earl Grey tea. All in all attention to detail was fantastic. Very highly recommended and a big thank you to my lovely hosts.

Myself and two friends travelled to Suffolk for a wedding. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Jan and Roger were more than accommodating - offering earlier check ins and lifts to the wedding. The room was immaculate and we all had a very comfy stay. It was really nice to be here. In the house, as around the house.. Peaceful and in a quiet countryside.

Jan & Roger were very welcoming and helpful. Room and ensuite bathroom were both of a good size. Extremely clean and tidy and equipped with everything you need. Fridge with complimentary drinks & snacks is an added little bonus, very comfy bed and good WiFi connection. Good choice for breakfast. Full English was spot on!If you're looking for a quality Guest House & peaceful location then Finjaro is definitley the place to stay.

An excellent welcome in a well appointed guesthouse. Food was excellent and the room extremely well appointed with all creature comforts expected of a major hotel chain !Fresh milk propositioned in the fridge with complimentary snacks was great. Five stars!

I've stayed here before and looked forward to staying here again, very clean and a nice relaxing atmosphere and Jan really makes you feel at home. Breakfast is good and very filling - will definitely be back.

hi, stayed there almost a week and they accommodated me pretty much at the last minute. I was in the red room. it was quiet and relaxing in the evening. Bed was comfy and there is even a little fridge in the room.the towels were super soft the the room + en suite very cleanthere is a tesco round the corner if you need and space for parking. you will have choice of wide range of breakfast in morning. Dogs are super friendly and cute!!!

Very clean and extremely very well-equipped accommodation. Good breakfast. Polite and friendly hosts. I was travelling on my own. The only room available was really for three.It was essentially a suite, comprising large double/twin room, with a good-sized single bedroom off. Perfect for couple with child. Three little dogs of owner well-behaved.Fully deserves five stars.

At Finjaro Guest House I had a Lovely Welcome from the owners & their 3 dear little dogs. A very nice ensuite double room, a guest lounge & an excellent breakfast all in a pretty rural setting. Very restful.
